This sterling silver shell pendant was casted from a little cockle shell. Have you heard of the saying "warms the cockles of my heart"? It's that warm fuzzy feeling we sometimes get. The cockle it's referring to is a chamber of a kiln. This pendant is the edible type of cockle but it's so cute it just might warm the cockles of someone's heart!
My fascination with shells began with a quiet moment from my childhood collecting snail shells in the backyard. I wanted to honor those small moments in nature that we've experienced as kids. Like little shells, they are remnants of the past that we can cherish.
